Regional Haze
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed taking over from the state of North Dakota plans to address regional haze regulation in order to improve visibility in certain areas, such as national parks and wilderness areas.
There is a better way. North Dakotans can count on the state and industry continuing to work together to preserve the state’s clean and clear air – making significant investments, and using proven technologies that are ideal for North Dakota’s coal – taking a hazy federal mandate, and replacing it with a clear solution for North Dakota.
