We are currently seeking a Web Developer within the Information Technology division to provide analysis, design, and hands on front-end development for a variety of small and large-scale web sites.

The position calls for close collaboration with existing IT staff, web site designers and the communications/marketing department. The focus of work will be on implementing and maintaining visual appearance and client-side scripting with some server-side development. The position will also provide professional recommendations on new web technologies and future projects. The environment is collaborative with numerous opportunities for emerging web technologies.

To qualify you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS or related field

• 2-5+ years of work history in an IT related field

• Web development in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Perl, CGI, JSP or VB

• Experience with graphic and multimedia tools such as PhotoShop, Flash and streaming media servers

• Experience with user interface design and web usability principles

• Experience with all phases of the website design and development life cycle

• Knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies.

• Database experience and SQL language skills

• Strong problem solving, communication, organizational and time management skills

• Experience with Stellent/Oracle Content Server a plus

• Electric Utility experience a plus.
