Great River Energy is dedicated to promoting energy education and awareness to students and educators. We’ve assembled a number of resources for educators.

We offer group tours of our LEED-certified headquarters facility.

Each quarter we provide grants to organizations that have a positive impact on our communities and member consumers. We also proactively contribute to a range of initiatives through broad-based sponsorships.

Great River Energy is committed to helping members start and grow their businesses. We work closely with local and state organizations to assist businesses planning to locate or expand in our service area.

Great River Energy offers scholarships to eligible graduating seniors pursuing a four-year or vocational-technical degree from a North Dakota college, university or technical school. Find application details by following one of these links:

In Minnesota, graduating seniors from Elk River High School and Maple Grove Senior High can apply for financial aid from Great River Energy through their school scholarship programs.
