U.S. EMF RAPID Program
Initiated by the U.S. Congress and established by law in 1992, the U.S. EMF Research and Public Information Dissemination (EMF RAPID) Program set out to study whether exposure to electric and magnetic fields produced by generation, transmission, or use of electric power posed a risk to human health.

World Health Organization (WHO)
The WHO International EMF Project, established in 1996, is now reviewing laboratory and epidemiological evidence, identifying gaps in scientific knowledge, developing an agenda for future research, and developing risk-communication booklets and other public information.

World Health Organization International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC)
The WHO IARC produces a monograph series that reviews the scientific evidence regarding potential carcinogenicity associated with exposure to environmental agents.
