Route Permit Application

The Minnesota Environmental Quality Board (EQB) approved Great River Energy’s route application at their May 20, 2004 meeting.

Great River Energy filed the route permit application with the EQB on September 9, 2003. This route is preferred by Great River Energy because it has the least impact on residents and meets our goal of ensuring reliable electric service in the area.

The public had several opportunities to comment on the route at public meetings.

Great River Energy will continue to contact residents about the line’s progress.
