The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission granted a certificate of need and site permit for Great River Energy’s proposed Cambridge Station peaking plant November 10.

Great River Energy filed its application for a Certificate of Need with the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission on Feb. 28, 2005.
